A Member of the Board of Directors - but also a strategic figure within Enerblue with the role of Area Manager for North and East Europe & Italy: meet Alessandro De Marchi, one of the key players within the company who, thanks to his expertise and knowledge of the HVAC sector, strongly contributed to the fast growth of this company.
• What is your role in Enerblue?
My operational role within the company is "Area Manager for North and East Europe & Italy"; I am also a member of the Board of Directors as a shareholder/partner of Enerblue.
• How long have you been working with Enerblue?
I have been working here since February 2014 and there's a good story I'd like to tell you about this.
It should be said that I had always been interested in Enerblue, even before I started working for this young and upwardly mobile company, as I am a fan of innovative start-ups.
In 2013 its owner and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Cav. Severino Veggian, called me on the phone asking me if I would be interested in working for him again, this time not in a structured and organized company like Blue Box was but rather, to build the "commercial future" of a very small company called Enerblue.
No call of a top class industry player like Mr. Veggian wants no for an answer!
Therefore, after thinking it over for a few days, I made him a counter-proposal: I asked him to join the company as a shareholder and partner, in order to improve my credibility toward customers - who would have to agree to join me in a very small a company which no-one knew, but was to become extremely successful: Enerblue!
President Veggian was surprised by my request, as he did not expect so much enthusiasm and so much willingness on my part; he accepted my proposal smiling his approval and so… here I am !!!
• What was your previous work experience?
My career path has been many-sided but consistent with my ultimate goal: to continue to work in the field of HVAC, i.e. air conditioning, refrigeration and new generation heating products such as high efficiency and high temperature heat pumps.
• Are you happy with the results achieved by the company in recent years?
Absolutely, yes! I will never forget where we started from in order to build our present and our future!
I am very ambitious but at the same time, also very humble in trying to achieve the company objectives consistently, being aware that every result is obtained thanks to the joint effort of all the people who work with me in the company as managers, employees and production operators.
Enerblue's people are the company's real assets!
• How have you coped with and overcome this last year and a half of the pandemic?
We have all focused on and committed to the right thing to do in order to mitigate and limit the impact of COVID, following our government guidelines and applying them according to everyone's own skills and position, both in our private life and at work.
• What are the medium to long-term goals that you have set for yourselves?
Our goals are ambitious and at the same time closely linked to our brand which has inspired our corporate strategy.
We aim at producing new generation products with natural gas, in an environment-friendly perspective.
This has also become our company "mission"!
• What processes do you implement to make sure employees are meeting the company's goals?
The assets underpinning our every move are team play and respect for other people and for one's commitments. Each one of us who plays a role within the company has a responsibility that motivates them to "do their homework" well.
• Which is the strong point of the Enerblue team?
Without a doubt, its people.
We are aware that our team is our real strength… My experiences in a number of companies much larger than Enerblue have taught me the importance of teamwork.
• Which colour, sensation or word best describes your vision of Enerblue?
The world is made up of many colours and shades that each leave their mark with the passing of seasons.
The way I see it, Enerblue is mainly green, a colour that is the symbol of nature: plants, flowers, fruits, and the vegetable world in general.
The colour green matches our company strategy, sending a powerful message and actively contributing to the development and sale of new generation “green” products and solutions that are the focus of our increasingly committed efforts.
