A PURPLEi propane (R290) chiller has recently been installed in a large seed production facility located in De Lier, in the province of South Holland.
The production process in question requires maintaining a constant temperature to preserve the quality of the seeds and prevent interruptions in production.
The chosen chiller ensures temperature stability thanks to the use of Inverter technology, which allows continuous modulation of the power output according to actual requirements, avoiding sudden temperature fluctuations and energy waste.
The machine supplies water at -4°C, which is used in a cooling coil to dehumidify the air during the production process.
Maintaining a stable water temperature even in high outdoor temperatures allows the customer to continue production without interruption, maintaining high seed quality and ensuring energy-efficient operation.
