One of our heat pumps was recently installed in the Apeldoorn-Zuid neighbourhood in the Netherlands. The installation site is a building that has long been a landmark in the neighbourhood, serving as a meeting place for people of all ages and backgrounds. Operating as a multi-purpose complex, the structure comprises several apartments and a number of community facilities, such as primary schools and a health centre.

Precisely because it is located in the heart of the neighbourhood, the choice of heat pump focused on two key aspects: silent running, to ensure peace and quiet for those who live and work in the building, and sustainability to reduce environmental impact.

Hence the decision to go for the Palladium 150.4 heat pump: a natural-refrigerant (R290) unit that combines high performance with quiet running.

Low noise levels are ensured by meticulous machine design, which carefully balances the aeraulic section with uncompromising high efficiency. Large fans that rotate at low speed are used to reduce noise and the heat exchange coils are sized for efficient heat transfer. Additionally, the plant compartment is soundproofed.

In short: these cutting-edge solutions guarantee a perfect blend of quiet operation and high performance.
