Located in the heart of Cala Llonga in Ibiza, the hotel offers a privileged location on the Balearic Sea.
Recently renovated, the property choses to adopt a green and sustainable approach for the production of domestic hot water.
The refurbishment involve the installation of 2 air-water IRIDIUM 150 units with R744 refrigerant (GWP=1) managed in a cascade system.
The 2 units are able to satisfy the domestic hot water needs of the entire structure thanks thermal stratification into a system of 6 tanks arranged in series.
The High water inlet temperature kit (HIT kit) combined with the advanced logic of operation of the heat pump make it possible to manage anti-legionella cycles by bringing the water to a very high temperature (up to 90°C) in the entire accumulation system.
The use of CO2 natural refrigerant gas with a transcritical cooling circuit allows the achievement of very high temperatures with the best efficiency compare to any other system currently available on the market.
